Terms of sale
One product, one payment, one file. These terms cover what you get, what you may do with it, and the limits of what a book can promise.
Last updated 27 July 2026
Who you are buying from
Pau March Gilberte, based at Valencia 46010, Spain. Contact: hello@auctionspain.com. These terms are governed by the law of Spain, without displacing any mandatory consumer protection in your own country of residence.
What you are buying
The Complete Guide to Buying Property at Auction in Spain: a PDF of 304 pages, 13 chapters and 6 appendices, 2026 edition, in English. One payment of €30. There is no subscription, no account, and nothing else to buy.
Delivery is immediate and digital. A download link appears on the confirmation page as soon as payment clears, and a copy is emailed to the address you gave at checkout. Nothing is posted to you.
What you are not buying
- Not legal, tax or investment advice. The guide explains a public procedure. It does not assess your circumstances, and it is no substitute for a Spanish lawyer, a procurador or a tax adviser.
- Not auction data.Listings are published free by Spain’s Portal de Subastas. We do not resell them and we do not operate a listings service.
- Not a bidding service. We do not bid, represent you, or act as broker or intermediary in any transaction, and we take no commission on anything you buy.
- No affiliation. We are independent of the Boletín Oficial del Estado, the Spanish courts, the Agencia Tributaria, the Land Registry and every other public body named in the guide.
What you may do with the file
The purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read the guide, keep copies on your own devices, and print it for your own use. You may quote short passages with attribution.
You may not resell it, republish it, share the file or the download link publicly, or use it to train a machine learning model. The download link is tied to your payment; treat it as yours.
Accuracy, and its limits
The guide cites specific articles of the Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil, ITP rates by autonomous community, and procedural deadlines, all current at the 2026 edition. Spanish law and regional tax rates change. We correct errors we learn about and reissue the edition when the law moves, but we do not warrant that every figure is current on the day you read it.
Auctions carry real risk of loss, including loss of your deposit. Chapter 11 exists precisely to set that out. Decisions you take after reading are yours.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability in connection with the guide is limited to the price you paid for it. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Price and tax
The price shown is what you pay. Where value added tax is due on a sale to a consumer, it is included in that figure and shown separately on your receipt.
Refunds
Digital delivery changes how the statutory cooling-off period works, and there are cases where we refund regardless. Both are set out on the refunds page.
Changes
We may revise these terms for future sales. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you paid, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that is.
