We sell one file and we need an email address to send it to. Everything below follows from that, and there is not much of it.

Who is responsible
Pau March Gilberte, Valencia 46010, Spain, is the data controller. For anything on this page, write to hello@auctionspain.com.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address, at checkout | To deliver the file and the receipt | Performance of the contract |
| Name and billing country, if given | Receipt and tax compliance | Legal obligation |
| Email address, on the waiting list | To write when there is something new | Consent, withdrawable at any time |
| Usage analytics | To see which pages work | Consent, via the cookie banner |
We never see your card details. Payment happens inside Stripe; the card number does not reach our servers at any point.
Who processes it
- Stripe — payment, receipts and fraud checks. Acts as an independent controller for payment data.
- Resend — sends the delivery email and any later message, and stores the contact list.
- Vercel — hosts the site and stores the PDF.
- Google — analytics and advertising measurement, and only after you accept cookies.
Some of these operate outside the European Economic Area. Transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Purchase records for as long as tax law requires them to be kept, which is measured in years, not months.
- Waiting list entries until you unsubscribe. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without logging in anywhere.
- Analytics for the retention period configured in the analytics tool, and not beyond it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to hello@auctionspain.com and we will answer within one month.
Deleting a purchase record is the one request we may have to refuse in part, because tax law requires us to retain proof of sale. We will say so plainly rather than ignore the request.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the data protection authority of Spain or of your own country of residence.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not send email to people who did not ask for it. Buying the guide does not add you to the waiting list.
- We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
